In future, the around 60 members of Bonusgrisen will deliver their animals to Danish Crown. Thus, they will be among the first to benefit from Danish Crowns new financial contribution for new cooperative members.

We want to be leading when it comes to transparency and that obliges. That is why we continuously work to strengthen our data foundation and through our unique set-up at farm level, we retrieve specific data points that each day help us in our work on sustainability. Both at the farms, in production, as people and employees and the final product on the consumers plate.

It must again be attractive to produce slaughter pigs in Denmark. Therefore, between now and 2021, Danish Crown will be raising the settlement price paid to owners by DKK 0.60 per kg.

Danish Crown has been strengthened financially, and this will now benefit the 7,166 Danish farmers who own the company.

At Danish Crown, we give high priority to animal welfare and support good animal welfare from farm to abattoir. That is why we work together with our cooperative owners, suppliers of slaughter animals and experts and NGOs within the food industry.
