It is important for Danish Crown as a company to be able to attract the best possible talents, rather than ending up in another company.
For the past four years, therefore, a lot of time and resources have been spent on developing the group's graduate programme, which involves taking in a new team of graduates each year in the form of selected and talented young people who are motivated by management.
This work has resulted in a graduate job in Danish Crown being rated as the 7th best you can get in all of Denmark. It has been assessed by Graduateships, which is Denmark's largest graduate organization. Over 300 different graduate jobs were included in the analysis.
- It is a huge pat on the back to all line managers, mentors and everyone else who in one way or another has helped to develop our graduate programme to what it has become today. The programme has been through an enormous development in a few years, and it is something everyone in Danish Crown can be proud of, says Gitte Dalgaard Hansen, who is responsible for the graduate programme.
The assessment is the result of the fact that the students who have either considered becoming graduates or perhaps even became it, have themselves assessed the various jobs.
If you ask Gitte Dalgaard Hansen, the Danish Crown's graduate team over the years must also have a large part of the credit.
- A large part of the success we will have to attribute to the fantastic graduates we have had throughout the programme of the last four years. They are excellent ambassadors for not just our graduate programme, but for Danish Crown as a whole. It is of enormous importance that we have ambassadors at the level that can show the group to the outside world and especially the young people they surround them with, says Gitte Dalgaard Hansen.
The award is valid until and including the summer of 2022, when an assessment will again be made of all the Danish graduate programs.
