Erik Eisenberg, who joined Danish Crown on 1 January 2016, previously held similar positions in the Maersk Group and Dansk Supermarked.
- I have had an exciting job in an exciting company at an exciting time of change. However, at the same time, I have to accept that after more than ten years in top executive positions being responsible for communication in large and highly regarded businesses, I need a change of track, says Erik Eisenberg.
Danish Crown’s Group CEO Jais Valeur acknowledges the fact that Erik Eisenberg has been the driving force behind a number of important communication initiatives, including the food group’s recently published and highly praised annual report as well as the launch of Danish Crown’s current ‘4WD – Forward’ strategy for the company’s cooperative members, employees and the outside world.
- Erik Eisenberg has played a key role in realising our common ambition of changing Danish Crown’s reputation – from a Danish slaughterhouse company to an international food and processing business. This work will continue, but we have to accept that Erik will no longer be part of the project. We wish him the very best of luck in the future, says Jais Valeur.
Erik Eisenberg, who originally trained as a journalist, has worked on a number of national and local media as a reporter, news editor and editor-in-chief, and has won two Cavling Prizes for his ground-breaking business journalism.
A search for a successor will start immediately.
