For decades, the DAT-Schaub Group has sold and distributed artificial casings to the meat processing industry in Europe and to a lesser extent in the United States. Over the years, the company has expanded its business to several markets, and this has resulted in a significant increase in the sale of artificial casings.

The just-concluded financial year hit a milestone in DAT-Schaub's history with sales of more than 1 billion meters of artificial casings, and thus DAT-Schaub continues the growth that the company has delivered over the years.

- As a distributor, it is an absolutely fantastic achievement, and it is first and foremost due to a really good work by the employees in the individual countries, says Sonny Jørgensen who is overall responsible for the artificial casings area in DAT-Schaub.

The group has several strategic partners, but the collaboration with the world's largest artificial casings producer, the Spanish company Viscofan, also plays a significant role in the increased sales.

It is the only company in the industry that can produce the 4 most important types of artificial casings.

The product range is a supplement to natural casings, where DAT-Schaub today has the leading position in sorting and sales for sausage production.

In the markets where both nature and artificial casings are offered, the group has a full range to offer to customers.
