Sweet Corn Chowder with Pork
Chowder is a great year-round soup loaded with textures and flavors that will keep you satisfied. The milk and cheese base makes the chowder creamy with chunks of bread, Jamonilla®, tortilla, and corn.
You can use either fresh or frozen corn for this recipe, but we recommend you treat yourself with the dish when summer corn is at its peak. Perfectly ripe corn has a beautiful yellow color and a sweetness that serves as a fresh contrast to the savory chicken stock and Jamonilla®.
For an even more filling chowder simply add potatoes together with the corn or add some leftover chicken to the dish. Try this easy-to-make corn chowder with pork – The dinner is ready within 30 minutes.

Tips
Serve the corn chowder with some bread for dipping.

Soup and chowder are not the same
Some people mix up chowder and soup. But they are not the same. Soups are thin and light, while chowder is rich and chunky. Chowder often contains some sort of protein like bacon, pork, chicken, or chorizo and a creamy texture.
