Livestock are given optimal conditions for strong and healthy growth on the farms, and we are constantly seeking to reduce our climate impact at all stages of our production.

Livestock are also treated gently at the abattoir, ensuring high-quality meat, and our employees are trained to process the meat in a way that ensures top-quality results.

Meat inspections are supplemented by self-inspection. The aim is to ensure top-quality hygiene and thus food safety for consumers, through prevention. All abattoir employees complete a hygiene course that equips them to perform the regular self-inspections.

At Danish Crown, our large tonnage allows us to precisely plan production, implement efficient logistics and ensure customers receive the right quality and quantity at the agreed time, via our own shipping department and partnerships with leading transport companies.

We market all of the popular kinds of packaged beef and pork, and our range of products covers everything from minced meat to roasts, sausages and prime steaks.

Meat is vacuum packed under controlled conditions in special food packaging using a mix of pure CO2 and O2.

All our products are produced under very stringent hygiene and temperature controls, which combined with our special packaging techniques means that all our products have a long shelf life.
