Danish Crown’s Board of Directors has today appointed pig producer Erik Bredholt (45) as new Chairman of the Board.
Erik Bredholt has been a member of the Board of Directors for ten years, for the past five years as Deputy Chairman.
- I am both proud and pleased to have the support of the Board. At the same time, I am in no doubt that it is an important post to be taking over, and one which carries immense responsibilities, says Erik Bredholt.
New Deputy Chairman will be pig producer Asger Krogsgaard (45).
Asger Krogsgaard is already Chairman of the Company Board of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and has been a member of Danish Crown’s Board since 2003.
Erik Bredholt
Erik Bredholt is 45 years old and has been a member of Danish Crown’s Board since 2001.
Erik Bredholt has a farm in Lindå near Mejlby in east Jutland with 550 sows and an annual production of approx. 14,500 pigs for slaughter and approx. 1,500 weaners.
Erik Bredholt is a member of the General Council of the Confederation of Danish Industry, of the Company Board of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and of the boards of the Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) and the life insurance company Industriens Pension. He is also a member of the boards of Danish Crown’s subsidiaries Tulip Ltd., Plumrose USA and Friland A/S.
Asger Krogsgaard
Asger Krogsgaard is 45 years old and has been a member of Danish Crown’s Board since 2003.
Asger Krogsgaard has a farm near Ringkøbing in western Jutland with 1,700 sows and an annual production of approx. 16,000 pigs for slaughter. He is Chairman of the Company Board of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council. He is also Chairman of Svineslagteriforum (formerly the Danish Bacon and Meat Council) and the Pig Levy Fund (Svineafgiftsfonden).
Asger Krogsgaard is also a member of Danish Crown’s Pork Producer Committee and a member of the boards of Danish Crown’s subsidiaries Tulip Ltd. and Agro Sokołów.
