Climate change strategy
of the Danish Crown Group

 

 

As a result of the attention devoted in recent years to emissions of greenhouse gases and their impact on the global climate, concerns about the climate are increasingly being integrated as a natural element in the development of society, industry and the market.

As a leading food producer, the Danish Crown Group is aware of its responsibilities with regard to assisting in reducing the harmful effects of its activities on the climate.

The present memorandum summarises Danish Crown’s climate change strategy.

It should be noted that data and knowledge are still lacking with regard to many aspects of this issue, making it difficult to define exact targets at present. The strategy is therefore expected to be adjusted in step with the necessary knowledge becoming available.
