Danish Crown finds it very important that consumers and customers have confidence in products from Danish Crown. That is why we are constantly working on food safety enhancement – at the slaughterhouses as well as in the production units of our suppliers.
The plants have been designed to ensure optimum treatment of the meat, and the employees go through hygiene training such that the production can be carried out with a high hygienic standard. In order to provide documentation of this, an elaborate and regularly adapted in-house inspection system has been initiated; a system that is supervised by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.
It is equally important that the raw materials comply with a number of quality requirements which are a precondition for Danish Crown’’s ability to supply high quality goods and to provide the desired food safety. Click on the subjects to the left to get more information.
