Edidan (Edible Danish Proteins) was founded February 6th, 1978 and is today a part of the Danish Crown Group.

Edidan is the leading producer of blood plasma and hemoglobin in Denmark.

The products are marketed in dried, liqued and frozen form (frozen in varius varieties). All products are produced for human consumption and are sold in the meat-, pet food- and pharmaceutical industry.

The products are used as a substitute for - or as a supplement to meat protein, primary on account of the good emulsifying and perfect water binding capacity.

Natural proteins - without any additives or radiation.
