Tulip Food Company is a modern food company with top priority on food safety.
Tulip is responsible for a wide range of well-known and popular Danish brands for example bacon, meatballs, cold meat, sausages, soups, ready-meals and canned products. The brands include Tulip – PåLækker and Livretter, Mou, GØL, Steff-Houlberg and Den Grønne Slagter comprising a series of low-fat cold cuts and ready-meals.
Next to the branded goods Tulip produces a range of products sold under the retailer’s own brands.

Apart from being visible in shops and supermarkets, Tulip is also well-know among the Danes as hot dog stands at gas stations and sports arenas. Next to the well-known names Tulip and Steff-Houlberg, Tulip has opened new kinds of stores in the past years, viz. Tulip Timeout and Steff’s Place well-known from the Copenhagen Airport where you can buy a hot dog at Steff’s Place in five of six terminals.

Among other things Tulip supplies meatballs, stuffed leek and schnitzels to a number of canteens and cafeterias and is also producing healthy and delicious school meals to Danish children together with the company 1-2-3 Skolemad.

Tulip’s name is not only well-known in Denmark. Tulip is present in a number of countries all over the world and especially Tulip’s canned products are widely travelled. The canned products are very popular in Central America and on the Japanese island Okinawa which is the place in the world where most people eat the so-called luncheon meat products which are an everyday meal many places in the world.

Tulip has 10 factories of which six are based in Denmark, three in Germany and one in Sweden.

Approx. 50 percent of Tulip’s products are sold in the Nordic countries while the other half is distributed across the world.
