One man – one vote, that is one of the fundamental principles of the cooperative movement.

Danish Crown’’s members elect the Board of Representatives, which is Danish Crown’’s highest authority. Among other duties, the Board of Representatives appoints the popularly elected members of the Board of Directors and the producer committees.

Regulatory veterinary inspections of Danish Crown sites are carried out independently of Danish Crown. However, Danish Crown supplements these with its own internal inspections in accordance with international HACCP Principles.

All slaughterhouse employees are required to complete a hygiene course, and everyone understands what the individual worker means for the quality of finished product.
